BMW Motorrad has Established the F 900 XR along with the F 900 R in India. It’s the initial BS6 offerings from the German Brand.
BMW F 900 XR standard priced is Rs 10.50 lakh, You might also select the F 900 XR from the Pro package which costs Rs 11.50 lakh (both costs ex-showroom, India). It is essentially a toned down version of this litre-class S 1000 XR however takes its design cues in Concept 9Cento that was showcased in 2018. The genre blends sports bike performance with all the comfort of an adventure tourer.
The F 900 XRs attribute carries a split complete LED headlight with cornering lights (optional), LED tail light and turn signs. It is electronics suite consists of two ride modes (Road, Rain) and ASC Automatic Stability Control that are offered as standard. The bicycle even comes with adjustable brake and clutch levers plus a 6.5-inch full color TFT display.
It’s been tuned to create 105PS of power and 92Nm of torque.
The F 900 R includes a brand new steel frame with a 43 upside-down fork and a monoshock. Dual 320mm disc brakes up front and a single 265mm disc brake at the rear paired using dual-channel ABS handle braking duties. The Pro Bundle provides you an electronically adjustable monoshock, should you fancy it.
BMW F 900 XR Rivals: The BMW F 900 XR doesn’t have any direct rival, but it comes quite close to the Ducati Multistrada 950.
