Danish Kaneria Knocks PCB Door, to remove life ban
Tainted Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria has Knocks to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Door, to take out the life ban, and it has sought permission to perform cricket.
Kaneria played 61 Tests for Pakistan claiming 261 wickets, has been banned for life from any cricket under the authority of the England and Wales cricket Board (ECB) after being found guilty of corruption with a disciplinary panel with regard to some spot-fixing case.
“Through my legal staff, I appealed Pakistan Cricket Board to eliminate my life ban. As per the ICC codes, I have asked PCB to beg my case, at least I am allowed to perform nationally (sic),” he explained along with the letter addressed to PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani.
PCB has the authority to write to the Chairman ACU thereof earning a request in the behest of the client to give him permission to perform and participate in domestic cricket, or some related activity thereof,” the letter read.

Kaneria has “demonstrated his willingness to undergo all educational, rehabilitative, or some other relevant programs,” the letter further stated.
In light of the above submissions, you’re hereby requested to perform the power provided to you under the Code and tackle the Chairman ACU to give our customer permission to take part in national cricket or actions related thereof as our client is prepared to experience all programs as the same are prepared and collaborate to the best of their skills.
