India-China face-off in Ladakh: 3 Indian Army Men killed
Three India Army Men, including an officer, were killed on Monday night during an Abusive face-off with People’s Liberation Army troops in Galwan Valley in Eastern Ladakh region.
Two troops, and A Indian Army Colonel, the Commanding Officer of an infantry battalion were killed during a struggle with troops in one of the points in the Galwan Valley.
Indian Army in a statement said that during the process which is underway from the Galwan Valley, a barbarous face-off took place on Monday .
The drive further stated that senior officials of both the nations are now meeting at the face-off website in order to defuse the situation.
On Monday, business level talks and Brigade Commander happened in Eastern Ladakh involving China and India. The talks are happening at Hot Spring Area close to patrolling close to the mouth of Galwan Valley point 14 along with also patrolling point 17.
On June 13, Indian Army chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane had assured that the problem along the borders with China is under control and the process of disengagement has started.
General Naravane had stated,”I’d just want to assure everybody that the entire situation and our borders with China is under control. We’re using a series of discussions which began on June 6 using the Corps Commander degree discussions and was followed up with meetings.
“As a consequence, a lot of disengagement has taken place and we are hopeful that through the continuing dialogue that we’re having, all perceived differences we (India and China) have will be place to rest. Everything is under control,” he’d said.
“We have started in the northwest, the area of the Galwan River, in which a great deal of disengagement has occurred. It has been fruitful dialogue we had and it will continue and by the situation will improve as we go on,” he’d said.
