Rajasthan Crisis: Eyes on Congress meeting in Jaipur
New Delhi 13 July: The political turmoil in Rajasthan, senior leaders of the Congress are keeping an eye on the legislature party meeting to be held in Jaipur on Monday.
The Old Congress leaders are calling MLAs to have full attendance throughout the match. The party has two leaders in Delhi, Ajay Maken and Randeep Singh Surjewala, to report back the specific position to the party high command.
Sources near this Ashok Gehlot camp said that the figures are with the Chief Minister, but his Deputy Sachin Pilot in a late night announcement claimed that the authorities in Rajasthan has been in minority following 30 MLAs promised allegiance to him.
The Congress leaders are worried about the results and many expected an amicable solution will be worked out to pacify Pilot. The Deputy Chief Minister is in Delhi later police served him a notice to seek out a complaint filed by the Congress under sedition charges.
