Sony revealed its PS5 console, and lineup of games coming to the console.
Sony gave viewers a look at the Brand New PlayStation 5 console in the His future Gambling occasion. The company showed off the approaching PS5 in the conclusion of the event next to the new DualSense control which we beamed back in April. Sony also displayed a suite of gear including an HD camera, control charging station media remote and Pulse 3D wireless headset. It is unclear at the moment when the gear is optional or bundled to add.
The DualSense also contains haptics and elastic triggers, allowing programmers to correct the trigger tension and provide more precise feedback than the classic rumble tech. It is going to also keep the lighting bar from the DualShock 4, although it’s positioning on the controller has been tweaked.
In Terms of the PS5 itself, Sony revealed that similar to the Xbox. It will be available in two variants: one with a disc drive, and one without. The discless version, known as the Digital Edition, is noticeably slimmer, though it still occupies the identical form factor.
PS5’s price and release date weren’t announced–that will come after, the company says.

Sony announced Resident Evil Village, the eighth entry in Capcom’s Resident Evil series, during its PlayStation 5 event. The game will be released in 2024. Resident Evil Village also looks to keep the slower pace of Resident Evil 7, differing from the more action-focused Resident Evil 5 and 6.
