TikTok claims that not data shared with China
TikTok on Tuesday said it’s in the method of cooperating with the government’s arrangement on obstructing of this program, also claimed that it’s not shared data about Indian customers together with any foreign government, such as the China.
The brief video-sharing firm said it was encouraged to meet with concerned government stakeholders to get an chance to respond and distribute clarifications.
India on Monday prohibited 59 programs with Chinese hyperlinks, such as enormously popular TikTok along with UC Browser, stating that they had been prejudicial to sovereignty, integrity and safety of the nation.
Meanwhile, the TikTok program was removed from Google Play shop and Apple App shop. According to sources, TikTok has removed the program from these types of program shops by itself.

“The Government of India has issued an interim arrangement for its blocking of 59 programs, such as TikTok, and we’re in the process of cooperating with it.
TikTok added it continues to comply with data privacy and safety standards under the law also hasn’t discussed any data of its customers in India with any foreign government, including the Chinese authorities.
“Further, even if we’re asked to in the long run we don’t do this. We set the highest importance on consumer privacy and ethics,” he explained.
