WHO concerned about COVID-19 impact on women, children and adolescents

The World Health Organization (WHO) said it’s “especially worried” about the effect of COVID-19 for women, children and teens.

Talking in Geneva at a virtual press conference on Friday,” WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated that the consequences of COVID-19 on those groups might be greater than the amount of deaths due to the virus itself, Xinhua news agency reported.
